Enumerator rounds last until 10th October
2 404 979 people distributed in 1 060 335 households got counted electronically by Census 2021 Information System.
1 082 314 people have registered as the greatest is the number of women of the group of ages 40 to 49 - 139 777.
The most are the people counted online in Sofia - 790 408 people which is a little more than 60% of the population of the capital city.
231 032 people are those counted in the region of Plovdiv, and in the region of Varna they are 208 883, which is respectively 34.7% and 44.4% of their population as to 31st December 2020.
The e-census started at 0.00 on 7th September and lasted until 24.00 on 30th September.
Now the second stage of the population and housing census continues – with enumerators. It will end at 8 p.m. on 10th October 2021.
