The statistics training began with the inclusion of the training discipline ‘Statistics’ in the curriculum of the D. A. Tsenov Higher Trade School - Svishtov, adopted with a Decision of the Academic Council in 1937 just before its establishment.
The conference is focused on two main thematic topics, which reflect the traditions in the training and scientific research in statistics, as well as the application of the statistical methods in the economy, social sphere, demography and environment.
The expected results in scientific, educational and vocational aspect are related to focusing of the efforts and creative potential of the representatives of the statistical science and practice for affirming of its role in the efficiency of the management of the social and business processes aimed at reaching economic growth and social stability.
‘Mathematics and statistics’ Department of D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics acknowledges its gratitude to Mr. Sergey Tsvetarsky - President of the NSI, and Dr. Bogdan Bogdanov - Deputy President of the NSI, who are members of the conference programme committee.
