The National Statistics Institute has started the project ‘Steps towards implementing the definition of statistical units for business statistics: Delineation of Statistical Units’, according to the European Commission grant agreement № 1172.2015.001-2015.478.
In the framework of the project, the statistical unit ‘Enterprise’ will be implemented in line with economic reality in Bulgaria. Тhe population of enterprise groups that will be treated as one enterprise will be delineated and statistically consolidated. The project will also contribute to full implementation of the statistical unit ‘Kind of activity unit’ in the statistical business register.
The project duration is 18 months and will be completed in March 2017.
