NSI has started a project ‘Development of a European Index of Services production (ISP)’ implemented in accordance with the Grant agreement with the European Commission № 06131.2014.002-2014.365.
The aim of the project is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of statistical production process and provide statistics on key areas linked to enterprises.
The main activities of the project will be developed in three areas:
- Area 1: Development of deflators for Wholesale trade (NACE G46) and Trade and repair of motor vehicles (NACE G45) on the basis of existing data.
- Area 2: Development of monthly service turnover data and calculation of monthly service volume indicators.
- Area 3: Development of reliable and representative of Services production price indices (SPPI’s) which will be used as deflators for calculation of monthly service volume indicators
The duration of the project is 12 months and it will be completed in September 2015.
