The National Statistical Institute offers to the users of statistical information its newest electronic publication ‘Cities and their urbanised areas in the Republic of Bulgaria, 2010 - 2018’ in Bulgarian and English.
The publication is prepared with the financial support of European Commission under the Grant agreement No 08142.2017.002-2017.422. The project aim is to provide reliable and internationally comparable information on cities and their functional urbanised areas.

The Catalogue contains detailed and clearly structured information about NSI printed and electronic publications issued in 2020. The Catalogue is a quick reference guide including information about every issue - content, type (printed or electronic version), periodicity, price, date of issue and international identification number. The publications are set up in three themes - General Publications, Population and Social Statistics and Economy.
In 2018, for the first time, we presented the results of the statistical surveys through graphics, images and other visualization tools, which resulted in a positive response among a wide range of users. We believe that this modern way of presenting statistical information will trigger the interest in those who for the first time encounter the meaning of numbers revealing important aspects of socio-economic life.
