The National Statistical Institute has the pleasure to present of users on statistical information its new electronic publication Book publishing and Press 2020.
The publication contains statistical information on the development of publishing activity in Bulgaria by main indicators for 2020.

The National Statistical Institute informs users of statistical and information that the Issue 3 for 2021, of ‘Statistics’ Magazine is published on the NSI’s website. The publication is in Bulgarian with summaries in Bulgarian, English and Russian and includes the sections:

• The Bulgarian statistics in three centuries
• Information, reviews, consultations

The National Statistical Institute presents to the attention of users interested in social statistics the newest annual bilingual (Bulgarian and English) electronic publication Education in the Republic of Bulgaria 2021.

The publication contains main data from the five carried out annual comprehensive statistical surveys, which characterizing the activity of educational institutions in Bulgaria for the period from 2016/2017 to 2020/2021 school (academic) years.

The bilingual (Bulgarian-English) publication presents annual average data from the Labour force survey. The Labour force survey is a sample statistical survey on households for examination of the economic activity of the population aged 15 years and over.

The methodology of the survey has been developed according to ILO and Eurostat recommendations.

The Statistical Reference Book presents topical information on the demographic processes as well as the economic, social and cultural development of the Republic of Bulgaria for the 2016 - 2020 period.
