Health Services 2018
The National Statistical Institute informs users of statistical information in the field of social statistics that the annual publication Health Services 2018 (in Bulgarian only) is already available.
The publication Health Services is a joint edition of the National Statistical Institute and the National Centre for Public Health and Analyses at the Ministry of Health.
The data sources are the statistical surveys carried out by the both institutions.
In the publication data are systematized as follows:
Sustainable development of Bulgaria 2005 - 2016
The National Statistical Institute offers to the users the overview publication ‘Sustainable Development of Bulgaria 2005 - 2016’. The publication contains statistical indicators elaborated in conformity with the System of Sustainable Development Indicators developed by EUROSTAT.
The data is systematized in the following sections: Socioeconomic development; Sustainable consumption and production; Social inclusion; Demographic changes; Public health; Climate change and clean energy; Sustainable transport; Natural resources; Global partnership; Good governance.
Main Macroeconomic Indicators 2017
The National Statistical Institute informs users of statistical information that the annual bilingual (Bulgarian/English) publication Main Macroeconomic Indicators 2017 is already available. The issue contains the results from official statistics' work on calculation of main macroeconomic indicators for Bulgaria in accordance with the System of National Accounts (SNA 2008) and the European System of Accounts (ESA 2010).
Women and Men in the Republic of Bulgaria 2018
The National Statistical Institute presents to users of statistical information the new printed publication ‘Women and Men in the Republic of Bulgaria 2018’.
The issue includes interesting and amusing information about the lives of women and men in our country, about the similarities and differences between them, presented through graphs and tables, short texts and thematic infographics.
The publication is intended for a wide range of users, the state administration, NGO’s and other organizations working in the field of gender equality.
‘Statistics’ Magazine, issue 4/2018
The National Statistical Institute informs users of statistical information that No. 4/2018 ‘Statistics’ Magazine is published on the NSI’s website. The issue is in Bulgarian language with summaries in Bulgarian, English and Russian and includes sections as follows:

- Statistical surveys and analysis
- The Bulgarian statistics in three centuries
Population and Demographic Processes 2017
The NSI annual electronic publication Population and Demographic Processes 2017 is available for users of statistical information.
The issue is bilingual (Bulgarian/English) and contains detailed statistical information about the demographic state in the Republic of Bulgaria during the year of 2017. Data for the number and the structure of the population and for its natural movement and internal migration are published in the issue.
Crimes and Persons Convicted 2017
The NSI annual electronic bilingual publication of the NSI Crimes and Persons Convicted 2017, containing data on crimes with penalty inflicted, accused persons and persons convicted is available for users of statistical information.
The issue includes data about the activity of district, regional and military courts as well as Specialized Criminal Court in penal cases of a general, private and administrative nature. Comparable data on crimes with penalty inflicted, as well as persons convicted with sentences in force for 1990 - 2017 period are also presented.
Book publishing and Press 2017
The National Statistical Institute has the pleasure to present of users on statistical information its new electronic publication Book publishing and Press 2017.
The publication contains statistical information on the development of publishing activity in Bulgaria by main indicators for 2017.
Data by some indicators, such as: titles; circulation; average circulation of books, pamphlets, newspapers, magazines and bulletins for the period 1962 - 2017, are also included. In the publication are applied methodology notes and brief analysis.
