NSI President Assoc. Prof. Atanas Atanasov, PhD, was a lecturer in a training workshop on Economic Diplomacy, which was held at the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The topic of the presentation was "NSI - how to read the numbers". For one hour, Assoc. Prof. Atanasov presented the activities of NSI, the basic principles of statistics, the ways and channels of dissemination of statistical data, the main information systems of NSI, errors made when reading the information and others.
35 diplomats from Bulgaria took part in the three-day seminar, and the speakers were Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Pekanov, ambassadors, heads of other institutions, professors in higher schools.
