The National Statistical Institute has started a project ‘Statistics on the usage of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) 2020’ in accordance with the Grant agreement with the European Commission No. 2019.0252. In the framework of the project, two separate statistical surveys will be conducted:
- Data collection on ICT usage and e-commerce in enterprises 2020;
- Data collection on ICT usage in households and by individuals 2020.
The general objective of the project is to collect reliable and internationally comparable data on the development and usage of information and communication technologies among the population and the businesses by several indicators - internet access, usage of e-commerce, e-government, internet security, etc.
The project duration is 12 months and it will be completed at the end of December 2020.
