The National Statistics Institute has started the project ‘Steps towards implementing the definition of statistical units for business statistics and profiling’, according to the European Commission grant agreement No. 11172.2016.005-2016.665.
The action aims to improve quality of the information on the largest multinational groups and their constituent statistical units in the national statistical business register (SBR) and in the EuroGroups Register (EGR).
NSI of Bulgaria will participate in work on European profiling as country of global decision centre (GDC) and partnering exercise on foreign groups for the reference year 2016. In the framework of the action also will be validated data in EuroGroups Register by using the interactive module EGR IM.
The project duration is 11 months and will be completed at the end of February 2018.
