The National Statistical Institute and Regional Statistical Office of Yugozapad submit to the attention of national and foreign users of statistical information the bilingual (Bulgarian/English) printed and electronic edition ‘Sofia in Figures 2015’.
The publication is a continuation of the periodicals ‘Sofia in Figures’ issued every five years.
This publication contains rich statistical information about the demographic, social and economic development of the district Sofia (stolitsa) for 2010 - 2014 period. Data for 2015 are also published on some indicators. The information is presented according to the administrative-territorial division of Bulgaria by district and level 3 of the Statistical Classification of the Territorial Units (NUTS).
Structure of the publication is identical to previous editions. The issue is designed thematically by chapters and each chapter contains methodological notes.
The publication is addressed to state and local authorities, business circles, non-governmental organizations, politicians, researchers, lecturers, students, experts, and to all citizens who are interested in economic and social development of Sofia.
