Employment and Unemployment No. 3/2008
The National Statistical Institute presents the electronic bulletin Employment and Unemployment - 3/2008 to its users.
The bulletin is a quarterly electronic publication of the National Statistical Institute, presenting the results from the Labour force survey. The Labour force survey is a sample statistical survey on households for examination of the economic activity of the population aged 15 years and over.
The methodology of the survey has been developed according to ILO and Eurostat recommendations.
Statistical Journal No.12/2008
The National Statistical Institute informs the users of statistical information that issue No. 12/2008 of the monthly Statistical Journal is already available. This monthly publication is realized in accordance with Eurostat recommendations about improving information activity and providing information on short-term statistical indicators, as well as offering information to users within a short period of time.
Health Services 2008
The National Statistical Institute informs users of statistical information in the field of social statistics that the annual publication Health Services 2008 (in Bulgarian only) is already available.
The publication Health Services is a joint edition of the National Statistical Institute and the National Centre of Health Information at the Ministry of Health.
The data sources are the statistical surveys carried out by the both institutions.
In the publication data are systematized as follows:
Standard Trade Classification 2008
The classification is a new Bulgarian version of the Standard International Trade Classification (SITC, Rev. 4), developed by UN Statistical Commission. The Standard Trade Classification is used for foreign trade statistics.
The publication includes introduction, structure and corresponding tables to Harmonized System (HS).
The publication is available on CD-ROM and is also published on the NSI website.

Population and Demographic Processes 2007
The National Statistical Institute presents the annual publication Population and demographic processes 2007 to users of statistical information.
The issue is bilingual (Bulgarian/English) and contains detailed statistical information about the demographic state in the Republic of Bulgaria during the year of 2007. Data for the number and the structures of the population and for its natural movement and internal migration are published in the issue.
