The National Statistical Institute and the Regional Statistical Office – Ruse present to users of statistical information the electronic publication Population and Demographic Processes in Ruse District 1999 - 2008 ( in Bulgarian only).
The issue contains information on the number of the population at the end of every year since 1999 to 2008. Data on the population and demographic events are presented at national and regional level - Ruse district and its municipalities. The information on vital statistics includes data on births, deaths, marriages, divorces and migration. The demographic indicators for fertility, total and infant mortality, marriage and divorce rates are calculated and presented in the publication.
The analysis in the issue presents the main trends in the development of the demographic processes in the Republic of Bulgaria, North central region and Ruse district. The statistical information is synthetic mode and addressed to a wide range of users.
