The eCensus 2011 in Bulgaria achieved a greater value to citizens with fewer resources based on the combination of new technologies, open specifications and innovative architectures in accordance with the European eGovernment Action Plan 2011-2015.

eCensus 2011 in Bulgaria is aligned with some political priorities from the eGovernment Action Plan and especially with:

• Efficiency and Effectiveness of Governments and Administrations;
• Open Specifications and Interoperability - involves legal, organisational and semantic aspects of handling data.
